Extremely efficient units for protection of mooring winch areas according to DNV-OS-E301 requirements. All pressurized equipment will be certified according to DNV rules for mobile offshore units.

Automatic Activation by Electrical
The Deluge system was deigned with manual activation and electrical activation via Zone1 type solenoid valve. During emergency release of winches, electrical signal will be send to the N2 pilot cylinder’s solenoid valve with by RRM or VMS. The N2 will discharge through a regulator with 4barg constant pressure to activate the pneumatic ball valve to pressurized the water tank. There will be a pressure relief valve set at 5 barg in case of over pressure of the water tank. Water will then discharge to the winches via the spray nozzles. A flow switch at the downstream will send a feedback signal to VMS to indicate the discharge.

Manual Activation
Manual activation can be done on the N2 bottle itself. Pull the manual level on the N2 bottle & N2 will discharge through a regulator with 4barg constant pressure and activate the pneumatic ball valve to pressurized the water tank. Water will then discharge to the winches via the spray nozzles.
